Therapeutic Riding

Therapeutic riding uses horseback riding and horse-related activities as a form of support and intervention for people with developmental challenges, mental health conditions, and social or emotional needs. The movement of the horse, along with the human-horse bond, creates a powerful and motivating environment for growth and healing.

At the FLSE, we believe equestrian sport is for everyone. Therapeutic riding, also known as Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapy (EAAT) is a vital and growing part of our mission to make equestrian experiences accessible, inclusive, and impactful for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Therapeutic riding provides physical, emotional, cognitive, and social benefits through structured interaction with horses. In Luxembourg, this discipline is supported by certified professionals and recognized programs that change lives.
